Travis Hash

Hi, my name is Sarah Hash. I have been Travis' wife now for 8 years. Together we have had two beautiful children, one boy and one girl. I thought I would let everyone know a little about me and how Travis and I work together in ministry. I grew up in a small town in Virginia where I lived until I went to college in Wise, Virginia. When I was fourteen my life was changed dramatically when I was raped by an older guy. For many years I had thought that when I was raped that it was all my fault for dressing the way I did or for provoking it. It was through the understanding of my husband and God's grace and mercy that I found acceptance of myself. I feel that God has called me to help other young ladies that have either gone through the same thing as I did or prevent them from going through it. I now work as a teacher in a middle school. I believe that this was a special calling in my life where I can touch the lives of young teenage girls and help them find confidence in themselves without doing the things that I did.
